MISSION STATEMENTWorking with compassion, integrity, and in a spirit of excellence, OCET provides lifelong opportunities for professional development and personal growth in our local and global community. The Office of Continuing Education & Training (OCET) is the community-based, non-credit unit of Hawaiʻi Community College and presently offers a wide-range of training in Workforce and Professional Development, Cultural and Personal Enrichment, Youth Summer Programs, High School Summer Exploration. These classes are offered to the public on-site, online, and can be customized to for individual businesses. OCET also oversees the Intensive English Program, the Apprenticeship Program and the federally-funded Rural Development Project (RDP) grant which focuses on addressing the ever-changing workplace demands for appropriately educated and work-ready employees.
