Explore bachelor’s degree programs during UH Transfer Day events, Feb. 26 and 27

Former Hawai'i CC students Amanda Yalap (left), who majored in Liberal Arts, and Blaise Kamahele Bahilot, who graduated from Hawai'i CC as a Hawaiian Studies major, pose for a photo at last year's UH Transfer Day selfie-station. Both successfully transferred to UH Hilo in Fall 2018. Amanda is majoring in Political Science, with a double-minor in Sociology and Gender and Women's Studies, and Blaise is majoring in Hawaiian Studies.

Interested in earning a bachelor’s degree?

Then come to the UH Transfer Day events happening Tuesday, February 26 and Wednesday, February 27 at Hawai‘i Community College campuses in Hilo and Kona.

Dozens of representatives from academic programs and student services departments from UH Hilo, UH Mānoa and UH West O‘ahu will be there to talk with students about options for earning a bachelor’s degree.

Hawai‘i CC representatives will also be on hand to talk about the degree pathways between Hawai‘i CC and the four-year campuses. Hawai‘i CC offers several degree programs that are designed specifically for students who want to earn their associate degree at Hawai‘i CC and then transfer to a UH four-year campus.

The UH Transfer Day events are perfect for Hawai‘i CC students who are thinking about transferring, and they are also free and open to the public.

The events will feature giveaways and free food. See below for more details.
