What is PACE...

PACE Workshops
  • a program designed to help people gain information to further their professional career goals in working with young children
  • to make training and education available to the community- parents, outreach workers, preschool staff, home visitors
  • to make training and education available to the community- parents, outreach workers, preschool staff, home visitors

Who is PACE for...

  • YOU
  • anyone interested in learning more about the young child- parents, preschool teachers, aids, aunties, uncles, family homecare providers

What PACE does...

  • makes training more accessible - days, times, locations
  • converts noncredit training to community college credits
  • starts a person on certificate or degree program in the community college system in Hawai'i

How PACE works......

  • successful completion of 16 sessions in a course can convert to 3 college credits
  • single workshop sessions can be taken for your own enrichment
  • workshop sessions costs $18.00 per session
